Det norske has acquired a seismic package for areas outside Lofoten, Vesterålen and Senja. The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) put the packages out for sale in December 2011. Det norske wants to actively investigate the opportunities also in this area.
About Det norske: Det norske oljeselskap ASA (DETNOR) specialize in extracting petroleum resources on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
